Eric Cantona was born on May 24, 1966. He is a French former football player. Eric Cantona ended his footbal career at Manchester United where he won four Premier League titles in five years, including two League and FA Cup Doubles. Eric Cantona was a great player, he was named the Manchester United player of the century, and was given the nickname "King Eric". However, Cantona was a short tempered player. He got into plenty of soccer fights. The most shocking fight he ever had was when Cantona got a red card and on his way out a fan said some words that Cantona did not like at all. Cantona kicked the fan in the face and got banned from playing soccer for 9 months. Eric Cantona was a very important player for his club, such as for France on the soccer field.
